modern day jesus

I'm not sure when the image of the happy-go-lucky-hippe-surfer white skin, blonde hair, blue eyed jesus hit the scene. but i think it was like the sixties. pot, lsd, and the bible can produce misguided results. eitherwho, this image is the image that comes to all most any westner's mind when jesus is metioned. I just wanted to say that jesus was nothing of that. History and the bible say he was jewish, and had no attractive features. No doubt he had a very attractive way yet he most likely wasn't gq material.


With that said i believe there are a handful of other misconceptions about the most influencial man to ever walk the earth. this is just an excellcent example of how twisted western or modernized christianity can be.
